Who We Are

Christy grew up in poverty, surrounded by a defeatist mentality.  Her childhood was marked by food insecurity, utility disconnections, reliance on credit cards, dependence on food stamps, and asking God to provide.  Remembering those childhood conditions still makes it hard for her to breathe, but also reminds her how powerful a generous gift can be.

Christy understands firsthand the weight of financial burden, not only as a child, but also in her adult life, and contrasting that with an instance of wild generosity she & her husband experienced, convinced her that she wanted to be a blessing to others.  This led her to Dave Ramsey & his principles for financial peace.

Today, Christy is a homemaker for her husband & their two children, and she loves helping people learn to budget, save for emergencies, get out of debt, and live generously.
